How to Stop Fighting

Potential Violence

Tragically, it is common for relationship conflicts to escalate to the point where there is a real danger of violence.

In these circumstances, the first priority is to protect the parties from one another. Only then is it appropriate to work through the Stop Fighting tutorial (which addresses the option of severing the relationship).

If there is an immediate threat of violence, we urge you to contact local law enforcement authorities immediately.

Options for assessing and dealing with the risk of violence are beyond the scope of this project. You might, however, find the following resources helpful.
